My journey into writing began when I first moved to Vancouver in February of 2000. My first book ‘In Solitary Confinement' focused on the trials and tribulations of my adolescence.

When I published my second book ‘Embracing the Beauty Within’ I was lead on a spiritual journey of self-discovery, and in my latest book ‘The Writer’s Pen’ I write about the growth and acceptance of loving one's SELF

THIS IS OUR LAST GOODBYE

Inside my head I feel your breath,

I think about you.

Voices in the dark

we are two.

I can't escape what's locked inside,

where are we going?

for tomorrow never came,

I see your shadow on the floor.

This air is thick with lies,

binding me in the cracks of your reflection

You fade in the air, eyes closed,

whispering a silent goodbye.

I stand alone on a glass river,

reaching for the light,

If I fall I WILL surrender.

Between heartbeats time moves fast,

and the echoes still hurt,

I sit in the vibration of emptiness,

not making a sound.

Inside my head,

spaces of silence live

I am that I am.
